Travelodge surveyed 3,500 Britons (more women than men) who reported waking up screaming, sweating, shaking or crying. Why?
Amy Winehouse
Well that’s understandable, but it’s not just her!
Spider attacks, falling and encounters with famous faces such as Gordon Brown, Alistair Darling, Cherie Blair, Heather Mills and the Cheeky Girls are all enough to scare people awake at night…
It is believed that nightmare thoughts of losing your job, being homeless or being chased are all manifestations of how the credit crunch is affecting our stress levels (no wonder Alistair Darling and Gordon Brown get a special mention then!!).
What do you have nightmares about?

I regularly have spider dreams which wake me from my sleep.
Do you ever have that falling feeling just as you nod off? I experience that almost every night. The BF explained it’s something to do with not getting enough air. My answer to not getting enough oxygen?….popping outside for some fresh air

I don’t tend to have nightmares, I occasionally dream – when I do it’s generally the falling experience…. How can it be lack of air, I sleep with the window open!!?
I rarely have dreams, let alone nightmares. But I do get that falling feeling sometimes when I’m drifting to sleep 😛
