Most people know I now have follow comment links, (as many blogging platforms by default don’t follow!), and it’s lead me to meet some really interesting people via my blog!
This option until recently wasn’t available to Blogger/Blogspot users, but it appears now that Tips 4 Blogspot have found a way to remove the nofollow attribute at Blogger.
Well done guys!!
I’m a new dofollow convert and I really like it. It has introduced me to new people and sites, and makes blogging more of a community activity.
Precisely! At least now I know someone out there is reading my drivel 😉
Thanks for the plug Keiron.
There is a follow up post for Classic FTP Blogger users. Unfortunately, Classic style templates hosted at Blogspot are still SOL — unless we can convince Blogger to allow for a setting in our dashboards (probably not likely)
No problem – keep badgering them, you may get somewhere, let’s face it they have hundreds of thousands of users!
I am also a blogspot user and also supporting a dofollow on comments.. It has increase my technorati rank and also increase the comments at my blog
But why you are still not doing a do follow here at your blog.. Is there any reason for it..
I’ve configured this blog (using a wordpress plugin) to make them dofollow after 24 hours, this gives me time to delete any total spam comments!
We just joined the “Do Follow” ranks. I found you over at BumpZee. Good idea on the wait 24 hour bit.
Thanks David – Welcome to the ranks! 🙂
